Everyone in Montana should have access to financial security, and race should not determine outcomes or access to opportunity. Unfortunately, too many Montanans are either underpaid or excluded from the labor market altogether. Families struggle to find affordable child care and many cannot access paid leave to take care of themselves or their family. MBPC conducts research on income supports and assistance programs, as well as policies that affect individuals’ ability to build a financially secure life.
